We've made bacon even better by coating it in a sweet bourbon glaze. This Maple Bourbon Bacon is the perfect addition to your breakfast or brunch spread!
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and place an oven-safe wire cooling rack on top. Spray rack with cooking spray and set aside.
2
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine brown sugar, bourbon and maple syrup. Cook, stirring often, until the mixture is reduced and syrupy, about 15-25 minutes.
3
Place bacon slices on top of wire rack, making sure not to overlap the pieces. Brush syrup on top of bacon and bake for 15 minutes. Flip bacon, brush the other side of bacon with syrup and return to oven. Bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until caramelized and crispy and cooked to your desired doneness. (Note: bacon will crisp up a lot more as it cools.)
4
Remove bacon from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
