Ingredients: 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts; 3 tsp barbecue sauce, plus extra for serving; 1 pkg of pepper jack cheese slices; 1 pkg of Oscar Mayer Bacon; 2 tbsp grill rub of your choice; 10 toothpicks, soaked in water

Ingredients

3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3 tsp barbecue sauce, plus extra for serving
1 pkg of pepper jack cheese slices
1 pkg of Oscar Mayer Bacon
2 tbsp grill rub of your choice
10 toothpicks, soaked in water

Instructions

Preheat grill to 350°F. Soak 10 toothpicks in some water. This will help the toothpicks not burn once on the grill.
Cut the chicken breasts in half lengthwise, but not all the way though. Spread one teaspoon of barbecue sauce where you made the cut in the chicken. Layer 2 slices of cheese in the middle of each chicken breast and fold the chicken back together. Wrap tightly with bacon, using about 3-4 slices. Use toothpicks to hold bacon in place on the chicken.
Once everything is secure, coat both sides of the bacon wrapped chicken in your favorite grill rub.
Grill the bacon wrapped chicken for 20-25 minutes, turning every 5-10 minutes or until internal temperature has reached 165°.
Once cooled slightly, remove toothpicks and serve with barbecue sauce on the side.
